Architect and Construction Manager

Position Overview: Seeking an individual authorized to work in New Jersey, who is either a licensed Architect and Builder or an Architect with an established construction partner, for a 14,000 sq. ft. warehouse project work. The candidate must handle both design and construction management duties.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Duties:
• Develop and coordinate architectural plans for the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with zoning requirements and functional needs.
• Prepare and submit permit applications, and liaise with NJ authorities.
• Construction Duties:
• Plan and manage all phases of construction.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors.
• Procure materials and ensure quality control.
• Conduct final inspections, address defects and prepare the facility for operation.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in New Jersey.
• Hold necessary licenses and permits for architectural and construction work in NJ.
• Strong knowledge of NJ building codes and regulations.
• Proven experience in design and construction management.
• Proficient in relevant software and tools.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Licensed Architect and General Contractor in NJ preferred, or Architect with a reliable construction partner.
