WG is currently looking for an Entry Level/Experienced Audit Associate to join our rapidly growing Audit team. As an Audit Associate, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your professional career through ongoing training, collaborating with colleagues on multiple engagements, and experiencing direct coaching and mentoring from our talented Audit team. You will gain exposure to various industries including Real Estate, Life Sciences, 401k, Technology, Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, and many more! In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring our clients are provided outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients
- Prepare accurate and organized workpapers to support audit findings
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards
- Collaborate with engagement team to complete engagements within timelines and budgets
- Utilize analytical skills to handle complex accounting issues and specialized assignments
- Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent client service
- Excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; current CPA license is a plus
- 0-2 years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
- Exposure servicing a broad range of industries such as real estate, 401k, yellow book, life science, manufacturing and technology is a plus
- Ability to complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
