Job Opportunity: Audit and Assurance Manager
Join our dynamic team as an Audit and Assurance Manager and take the lead in managing fieldwork and supervising staff on various assurance and audit-related engagements. This role involves working with privately held, entrepreneurial businesses, providing a range of assurance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engagement Leadership: Oversee and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing engagements from start to finish.
- Internal Controls: Conduct internal control evaluations, review accounting processes, and analyze key financial metrics.
- Financial Forecasting: Prepare forecasts and projections to support business planning and decision-making.
- Due Diligence: Assist with due diligence and acquisition projects, providing critical insights and recommendations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Certification: CPA designation required.
- Experience: 7+ years in public accounting with a focus on managing client engagements and relationships.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead teams and projects.
- Industry Preference: Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing is preferred.
