As a Nutrition Program Coordinator, you will manage program efforts and participate in other nutrition related projects designed to inspire healthy and positive lifestyles. Addressing hunger as a health issue, CFBNJ’s nutrition programs provide children in school settings with access to healthy, nutritious meals.
What you’ll do in your role:
- Coordinate implementation and planning of programs, and lead efforts in the Family Pack Program, Kids Cafe, or Summer Food Service Program throughout the entirety of the program year.
- Evaluate and improve programs and engage with partners and participants to help evaluate program components and increase program participation.
- Collaborate with internal teams as well as external partners to provide quality and easily accessible services to program participants.
- Maintain highly organized program information and records.
- Utilize and interpret program data to predict patterns and trends.
- Facilitate changes with the program site environment to support improvement in program processes and procedures that increase access to nutritious food and nutrition education among program participants.
- Represents CFBNJ and nutrition programs at community meetings, coalitions and/or state events and conferences as related to the position.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree required, a degree in nutritional sciences, social work, public health, or related field is preferred, or 8 years of experience as a coordinator supporting multiple projects or working in a related field.
- Technical aptitude of Microsoft O365, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Bi-lingual language skills (English and Spanish/Creole/Bengali) is a plus.
- Ability to have a varied work schedule that includes nights and weekends to meet the scheduling needs of partnering organizations and schools.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
