We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide approximately 5 hours per week of directly clinical supervision to MIllhill's therapists and interns. The essential tasks are shown below:
- Provide direct weekly clinical supervision of therapists and interns as assigned by the Outpatient Clinic’s management team and to document each of these sessions.
- If assigned clinical supervision of an Intern Therapist: a) conduct outreach and meet with the university’s contact/representative at least once per month and as needed; b) complete necessary university feedback/suggestions/recommendations related to therapy session dialogue, as needed; c) complete university’s student evaluation and/or evaluations as needed by the university.
- Meet regularly for individual, group, and team supervision as requested by the Outpatient Clinic’s management team.
- Attend all mandatory supervisory & staff meetings as set forth by the Outpatient Clinic’s management team.
- Manage supervisees when incidents of abuse/neglect are reported during sessions including calls made directly to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency hotline.
- Follow all ethical standards set forth by the state licensing board which issues your license.
- Follow standards/guidelines set forth by HIPAA and protect all client PHI.
- Bi-weekly uploading onto One Drive of logs/notes pertaining to supervision sessions.
Requirements
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Licensed as a counselor or social worker in the state of New Jersey (LPC, LCSW)
- Certified as a clinical supervisor (ACS for LPC’s, supervision course for LCSW’s)
- Two years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting
- Five years of overall mental health experience
- Must be familiar and experienced with individual, family, & group therapy modalities. Familiarity and experience with clinical documentation and outpatient counseling regulations of the Division of Human Services and Office of Licensing.
- Experience with CAFAS assessments and individualized, strength-based treatment planning for youth ranging from 4-21 years old.
- Experience with standardized assessments for adult clientele, ranging from 21-65 years old including individualized, strength-based treatment planning.
- Availability for supervisee treatment team meetings, as needed.
- Must be energetic, creative, and a self-starter
- Must be able to work as a significant part of a treatment team
- Must be able to work afternoons and/or evenings
- Must be culturally aware and sensitive
- Must possess excellent writing and communication skills
- Computer literate/experience with electronic health records
