Position Overview:
We are looking for candidate who will lead the delivery of world-class operational excellence and exceptional service to our enterprise customers. Ideal candidate, will have experience in a complex IT infrastructure management, customer-facing environment with significant reliability and uptime requirements. As a champion of continuous improvement, you will spearhead innovative approaches to optimize global operations and maintain a competitive edge.
Our team is based in our Regional HQ in Ridgefield Park, NJ. This role currently works on a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for enterprise clients, delivering exceptional service and cultivating robust, trust-based relationships
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Evaluate the IT infrastructure and operations organization (people, process, and technology) to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure reliable operations
- Ensure our cloud infrastructure complies with industry regulations and implement security measures to safeguard data
- Lead the resolution of technical issues, managing escalations with a solutions-focused approach, and communicating updates clearly and effectively to clients
- Strong monitoring, alerting and incident management automation experience
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practice
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error
- Document cloud infrastructure and processes for future reference
- Oversee the recruitment, performance management, and training processes to build a cohesive and high-performing team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years’ experience in Public and Private Cloud Infrastructure
- Possess a broad range of skills and a hands-on approach to tackling technical challenges
- Seasoned team leader with experience inspiring collaborative team environments, overseeing daily operations, and leading team through conflict resolution
- Background in infrastructure architecture, systems administration, network administration and storage administration
- Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex cloud-related issues efficiently
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrates the business and financial acumen necessary to develop and present data-based ideas and solutions in a clear, concise, organized manner
- Business traveling up to ~20%
- Work from the office on a hybrid schedule according to company policy
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
