Full Job Description
Data Entry Support Associate - Under general supervision this position will be responsible for the information imputed into inventory systems for warehouse support in relation to inventory related functions. This position will work closely with non-retail employees in an effort to ensure accuracy of the information and product lines.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. The position reports to our Blackwood, NJ location and will work 3 days in the office and two days from home. The pay range is $18/21 - $21/ hour.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Under general supervision this position performs the following essential functions:
· Transferring data from paper formats, email formats, and Excel templates into database systems
· Organizing and filing
· Performing proactive audits; correcting data deficiencies, inconsistencies, and errors
· Maintaining systems data integrity by following standard operating procedures; reporting challenges and recommending process improvements
· Keeping track of work flow and alerting management of system issues
· Providing assistance for help desk tickets
· Providing administrative support to the Product and/or Inventory departments – updating spreadsheets and attending meetings representing the Data Integrity department
· Leading change management initiatives – identifying opportunities to improve data integrity, suggesting solutions, arranging meetings, and involving key players
· Coordinate product refresh and line launch schedule and logistics involved with launch
· Coordinate and update Zenni online Spreadsheet info
· Update GS1 – USV UPC Codes (Private Label Only)
· Frame Tracings – New Product and/or Frame Retraces
Requirements
· Fast, accurate typing skills
· Proficient knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets – ability to create and maintain documents with formulas, hyperlinks, and pivot tables
· Ability to trouble-shoot issues with office equipment - fax machine, scanner, and label printer
· Advanced understanding of databases
· Excellent communication - both oral and written customer service skills
· Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and meet deadlines
· Strong attentions to detail
· Independence, decision making
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to work alone or as part of a team
· High school degree or equivalent
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform repetitive movements of the fingers, wrist, arms and shoulders, standing for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per day, move freely within department, bend, twist, reach, squat, climb a ladder and regularly lift/carry up to 5 pounds. The associate will be working in an open stock and/or warehouse environment, exposure to dust and noise could be present.
