Position Summary: Taylor Management is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in the day-to-day operations and functions. The HR Assistant will aid in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, record-keeping, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. This position is $55,000-$60,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparation of offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring that all HR documents are up-to-date and properly filed.
- Assist with benefits administration, answering employee queries and coordinating with vendors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
- Monitor employee performance and provide support during performance appraisal processes.
- Implement and facilitate employee training and development programs.
- Assist in preparing reports related to HR metrics and employee statistics.
Working Environment: The role is office-based, with an emphasis on teamwork and communication.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in human resources or administrative support preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
