Full Job Description
The I-Gaming Compliance Analyst is a member of the Internet Gaming compliance team, responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory standards set by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE). This role involves detailed examination of online gaming activities, including online casino and sports wagering operations and partnerships, to ensure integrity, fairness, and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Position Responsibilities
· Conducts detailed analyses of online casino and sports wagering activity of Ocean Casino Resort and its partners.
· Collects, reviews, and reports data related to suspicious activity, risk, and problem gambling for internal review.
· Participates in guided correspondence with partners of Ocean Casino Resort on various topics, including regulatory compliance.
· Prepares various daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use.
· Audits online gaming activity to identify and investigate potential fraudulent or suspicious behavior.
· Reviews and analyzes data to detect patterns indicative of responsible gaming issues.
· Ensures the integrity and accuracy of all gaming-related data.
· Collaborates with internal teams to develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with gaming operations.
· Stays updated with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in internet gaming.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Director Internet Gaming (IGM).
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast-paced environment.
· Prepare and summarize of notable items upon completion of the monthly analytical function.
· Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and work onsite for entire shift
Requirements
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Minimum of one (1) year of accounting or finance experience preferred, or at least one (1) year in casino accounting or financial/Internet Gaming analysis.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Must possess or be able to obtain a Casino Employee Registration from the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
