Mazteck IT, is looking for a motivated, self-starting individual to join our team. The candidate must have experience working in the IT field, possess the ability to learn new technologies, and the ability to work in a team environment. Primary duties are to work directly with customers, and other technicians, to resolve all IT service tickets. Must have a customer friendly attitude, good written / oral communication skills, and the ability to multi task in this fast paced, customer driven environment. Must be hard working, customer oriented, and possess a clean driving record.
Responsibilities for the jobs
- Maintain technical knowledge and competency in all desktop related technologies
- Maintain and operate client’s server Infrastructures, including but not limited to patch installations, critical security updates, backup maintenance
- Installation of monthly patches and critical security updates
- Maintaining proper backup and disaster recovery solutions for clients
- Provide support via communication by phone, remote assist and on-site as required.
- Communicate and assist clients by phone, remote access and email regarding service tickets
- Timely and accurately document and update service tickets with all relevant details to properly log work done and follow-up work if needed
Qualifications and Skills
- What are we looking for the person we wish to hire:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT Support
- Desktop Support/ Network Support
- Desktop and LAN support
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining Windows 10 and 11 and Windows Servers
- Computer and network hardware/software troubleshooting, repair & upgrade knowledge
- Must be able to install new workstations, add to network and configure for users
- Experience with maintaining network infrastructure

- Follow-up on any task through completion and verification.
- Ability to properly document events & incidents as required (whether it was service tickets, email to clients, reporting to management Etc.)
