Lead HRIS Analyst Responsibilities:
The Workday HRIS Lead Analyst– Integrations is responsible for providing advanced technical skillset to govern data migration into or out of the client's Global HR Information System (Workday). This position will work with the HRIS Sr. Manager – Integrations to support all integrations across the Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Recruiting Modules.
This position will act as a Technical Partner to Corporate IT, Global Payroll, HR Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Acquisition) to gather systems requirements and configure integrations as needed. Leverage knowledge of system functionality, along with other functional and technical skills, to provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement support for users and production operations.
This role requires deep technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Support the development, detailed analysis, and maintenance of Workday Integrations with third-party and downstream systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality
• Support Acquisition/Divestiture Initiatives on data migrations from/to Workday and subsequent integration impacts
• Work directly with key business and HR/IT/third-party stakeholders to establish requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and ultimately configure, test and deploy integrations solutions
• Provide guidance and recommend best practices to end users’ requests
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and provide resolutions for Workday Integrations related issues
• Assist HR Technology team in configuring and testing integrations that overlap with functional design or business process operations
• Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of integration configuration decisions
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science/Software Engineering /Management Information Systems/Computer Information Systems
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Designing, Building, Testing, Deploying, and Troubleshooting Integrations in Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and Recruiting modules
• 3+ years of experience in developing Workday Custom Reports, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, XSLT, and Workday Studio
• Workday Integrations and Workday Studio Certifications are strongly preferred
• Experience working with SAP <> Workday implementations is a plus
• Strong critical thinking skills to understand complex, technical process issues and facilitate/influence decision making
• Ability to effectively manage multiple client requests and operate in a dynamic, growing, ecosystem with minimal supervision
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• In-depth knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Superior client-focus and commitment to customer service
