About the Role
The Manager Responsible Gaming is a key member of the Internet Gaming compliance team, essential for ensuring adherence to responsible gaming protocols and regulations set by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. The Manager Responsible Gaming conducts responsible gaming compliance reviews of Ocean’s online gaming and online sports wagering operators and actively manages responsible gaming interventions for Ocean’s internal online gaming operation.
Position Responsibilities
· Reviews and analyzes responsible gaming activity and related regulatory compliance.
· Conducts thorough audits of all online gaming partners to ensure effective management of responsible gaming issues.
· Analyzes data to identify trends and patterns indicative of responsible gaming issues.
· Monitors internal responsible gaming reporting data and other player behaviors, identifies trends, patterns and intervenes when necessary, including contacting customers and recommending account actions to management.
· Prepares and presents daily, weekly, and monthly reports on all responsible gaming-related activities.
· Works closely with the Director Internet Gaming and internal teams to enhance responsible gaming policies and procedures.
· Provides training and support to staff and partners on responsible gaming practices and compliance requirements.
· Stays updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in responsible gaming.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Director Internet Gaming
Essential Functions
· Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second- hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
· Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
· Repetitive finger and wrist motion (key board data entry) as well as prolonged viewing of data on a computer monitor.
· Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
· Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.
Requirements
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly using Excel’s database functions and pivot tables to analyze large amounts of data.
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience in responsible gaming, compliance, or a related field.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Must possess or be able to obtain a Casino Employee Registration from the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
· Experience in auditing and regulatory compliance within the gaming industry is preferred.
