Project Engineer (Municipal)

Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading company in Hillsborough, NJ to find a skilled individual to join the team as a Project Engineer specializing in Municipal projects.

• Act as Township or Borough engineer, representing municipal clients
• Attend municipal meetings
• Manage projects, ensuring compliance with local ordinances, including subdivision and land development, zoning, grading, stormwater management, and construction administration
• Design stormwater and detention basin systems, and oversee infrastructure rehabilitation projects
• Prepare technical reports such as memos, feasibility studies, and engineering assessment reports
• Provide construction support services including contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management
• Experience in municipal account management preferred
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Engage in business development activities to foster growth in municipal and utility engineering sector

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Municipal Engineering, Client Representation, Subdivision and Land Development Plan Review, Stormwater/Drainage Plan Review, MS4 Compliance, and Public Works Design
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania is mandatory
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
