Full Job Description
The Restaurant Busperson will clear, clean and reset tables according to procedures.
Position Responsibilities
- Must maintain an adequate supply of fresh linens, china, silver, glassware, and other food service accessories; delivering food and beverage in an efficient manner; providing truly great service for our guests by anticipating needs and delivering friendly service with a smile.
- Adhere to established company and Departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times
- Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, Departments, and guests
- Maintain established company and Departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times
- Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time
- Cleans area under and around tables and hutches
- Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Counts, sorts and organizes all money, vouchers and paperwork from the drop boxes.
- Lifts and displays empty drop boxes to Surveillance personnel and fellow team members.
- Retrieves drop boxes from the storage area and appropriately stores all boxes.
- Inserts and removes currency from counting machines; runs the machines.
- Straps and hand-stamps money bundles.
- Totals all cash, and vouchers by revenue/ asset and by day/date.
- Enters necessary information into the computer.
- Loads appropriate boxes into carts and pushes/pulls carts to designated areas for transportation to the casino floor.
- When a VLT machine is being played at the time of a VLT drop, uses excellent guest service skills to assure the guest’s satisfaction.
- Accounts for all keys used to perform VLT machine drops.
- Verifies wrap totals; researches and explains variances.
- Pulls bill validator boxes, insuring each box is accounted for before and after the drop.
- Completes all paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
- Is responsible for the loading of currency and count of dropped funds for all the Racino floor ticket redemption kiosks.
- Counts VLT Operations Blind Drops.
- Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Follows safety and security guidelines and adheres to department procedures.
Performs emergency drops of bill validators.
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Must be able to lift and carry small and large trays and/or bus tubs weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to push/pull full bus carts, dish/glass dollies weighing up to 75 pounds
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred
