About the Role
The Administrator – Security is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Security Department.
Position Responsibilities
• Provides overall administrative support to the Security Department
• Prepares payroll for department manager approval
• Assists with providing labor counts to Finance
• Serves as central point of contact for department employees and other Ocean departments
• Handles clerical work including but not limited to, contract routing, training manuals, IT help desk tickets, Lock shop requests, office supply inventory and ordering, invoice approvals and processing
• Provides security leadership team assistance including but not limited to typing, collating, filing, copying, mailing, etc.
• Assists Training Manager with preparations or new hire processing, training and compliance training.
• Responsible for day-to-day appointments and schedules
• Maintains “Important Events” bulletin board
• Processes Municipal Court notices and updates spreadsheet
• Maintains accurate and current records and files as directed by the Director
• Prepares correspondence, documents, records, etc.
• Sorts and distributes mail
• Handles incoming phone calls
• Assists Lost & Found with logging items and keeping storage room organized
• Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Must be able to stand for a portion of the shift and be able to move throughout the hotel area
• Must be able to, occasionally work holidays and weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
Requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)
• In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations
• Hands on experience with MS Office
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Prior casino experience preferred
