As a Senior Account Executive at Corcentric, you will join an ambitious team within an entrepreneurial global organization. You will identify and manage new payment partnerships, and drive new sales and achieve sales targets consistent with the market strategies developed by Corcentric.
The Senior Account Executive, Enterprise & Payments Partnerships on our Accounts Payables Solutions program is responsible for understanding the accounts payable needs of customers and partners in support of their end-to-end AP process. You will deliver on sales quotas by applying a consistent sales process based on customer needs, their organizational decision-making process, and persuasively articulating the Corcentric value proposition for AP Solutions. You will partner with the marketing team and demonstrate a disciplined approach toward new business development, with the ability to initiate, manage, and close significant sales opportunities.
This key position reports to the SVP, Accounts Payable Solutions within our Software, Advisory, & Payment Sales team. Our preferred hiring location is Cherry Hill, NJ, but remote candidates may also be consideration. We anticipate 20- 30% travel requirements.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will:
- Identify, develop, and manage new qualified customer relationships with Enterprise customers within the range of $2B in annual revenue and greater.
- Identify, develop, and manage new qualified payment partnerships with Payment partners within the range of $1M to $10M in annual recurring revenue.
- Manage and grow the Corcentric footprint within assigned industry or territory with marketing through active prospecting, networking, and coordinated marketing activities
- Manage sales pipelines and forecasting while providing “Voice of the Customer” feedback on where we win and where we have opportunities to better help customers
- Manage through complex sales cycles to successful close and sign up new customers which may include coordinating across the customer’s procurement, treasury, and office of the CFFO. The goal is to win – and this may require successful partnership with consultants or other partners.
- Negotiate deals and closing contracts beneficial to Corcentric and our customers
- Collaborate across the organization: Sales, technical sales, value engineers, marketing, legal, product and customer support
- Be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Provide leadership for your area of responsibility, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior
- Be proactive to identify areas of improvement that could lead to better decisions, removal of barriers, and positively contribute to overall organizational change.
- Consistently apply company values and expect peers and leaders to do the same
Requirements
You’ll need to have:
- Approximately 10+ years’ sales experience, preferably in FinTech or Enterprise Resource Planning environment
- Proven business development success in developing payment partnerships across various ecosystems including ERP, industry, and other Fintech related opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by consistently closing deals through effective negotiations and deal management
- Hunter-Challenger type personality, combined with board room presence and C-level presentation skills
- Ability to express ideas and information effectively in individual and group situations, including adjusting language and approach based on the audience
- Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of a complex sale cycle
- Previous formalized training in strategic sales, solution selling and/or process-oriented sales approach
- Strong intellectual skills, with a high level of enthusiasm for problem solving and analysis
- Excellent customer service instincts combined with exceptional relationship building skills
- Ability to adapt with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time

It’s great if you also have:
- Financial Software and/or Services experience, operational or Sales-based
- Experience with business process re-engineering in the financial or accounting domains
- Project management experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
