Join our growing team at Miller Transportation Group as the Senior Operations & Finance Analyst for our Miller Truck Leasing division.
Miller Transportation Group is a mid-size, rapidly growing leader in the transportation industry that has been family-owned since 1912. The company's several business units operate as follows:
- Miller Truck Leasing - Provides full-service leasing, finance leasing, truck rental, and truck maintenance programs. Miller Truck Leasing is the East Coast's largest privately-held truck leasing company.
- Miller Dealerships - Provides car and light truck solutions across the Ford, Lincoln, and Subaru brands.
- Miller Dedicated Services - Supports customers in outsourcing their transportation needs by providing vehicles, drivers, fuel, insurance, and overall industry expertise.
- Miller Brokerage Services - Provides on-demand capacity solutions through our network of reliable carriers.
Senior Operations & Finance Analyst
The Senior Operations Analyst plays a strategic role in problem-solving, driving process improvement, and delivering insightful analysis throughout all levels of the company. Reporting directly to Miller Transportation Group's CFO, this position offers a unique opportunity to become a trusted advisor to the accounting, finance, IT, and operations teams.
Requirements
You will:
- Be an expert in our systems and data, and use this expertise to inform decision-making.
- Review and enhance operational processes by collaborating with co-workers and department leaders; spearhead change management for the process improvements.
- Create project plans and ensure their timely execution.
- Test system upgrades before implementation.
- Collaborate with the business to measure quantifiable business benefits.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and process compliance.
- Conduct financial analysis, review product profitability, and align financial and operational goals.
You have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with process improvement methods such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- A proven track record of enhancing operations.
- Experience in financial analysis and modeling.
