Klopotek is hiring for a Software Consultant to join our growing team!

About the role: As a Software Consultant you will advise and support new publishing customers during the implementation of our software products based on best practice business processes.
The successful candidates should have publishing knowledge ideally in Contracts, Rights & Royalties and related finance processes.
Primarily the role will be responsible for scoping, analyzing, organizing and realizing deliverables and outcomes, within a program/project context.
What your day will look like:
- Participating, partially coordinating, and steering allocated projects.
- Providing consultancy support and advice to allocated customers.
- Project planning, progress reporting, and effective communication with stakeholders and project principals (customer and Klopotek).
- Motivation and responsibility for delivering milestones and/or deadlines.
- Preparation and maintenance of project lifecycle documentation (commencement to closure).
- Configuring software to align with customer requirements (no development).
- Software application testing, including data and test script production.
- Software application training, including the preparation of training material and publishing customized user guides.
- 1st level customer support.
About You:
- Educated to degree level in either publishing and/or IT subjects.
- Professional experience, preferably in publishing royalties and/or finance.
- Demonstrable and proven experience with ERP systems.
- Project management skills would be advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products is essential.
- Understanding of databases and SQL technology skills would be desirable.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Other language skills advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to travel.
