WG is looking to hire a Tax Senior who possesses advanced knowledge in partnership taxation and real estate. This position presents an exceptional chance to collaborate with a wide range of clients and deliver thorough tax services specifically designed for partnership and real estate entities.
Description
- Prepare and review partnership tax returns (Form 1065) for a variety of entities, including real estate partnerships, investment funds, and operating partnerships
- Analyze partnership agreements and financial statements to ensure accurate reporting of income, deductions, and allocations
- Research, analyze, and implement complex partnership tax issues, including capital account maintenance, basis adjustments, and allocation methodologies
- Assist with tax planning and structuring for real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure timely completion of engagements
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently within established timelines and budgets
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations related to partnerships and real estate to provide proactive tax advice to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in partnership and real estate taxation.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Actively working towards obtaining your CPA, EA, or JD license; current CPA, EA, or JD license is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on partnership taxation and real estate.
- Solid understanding of partnership tax rules, including Subchapter K and Section 704 regulations.
- Experience with real estate transactions, such as property acquisitions, dispositions, and 1031 exchanges
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, organization, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

- The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $103,000. Individual salaries are determined through multiple factors permitted by law including but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certification, knowledge, skills and qualifications. WG also offers a comprehensive benefits package and performance award (bonus) eligibility where you’ll be recognized and rewarded based on your performance.
