Job Summary:
We seek an Office Manager/Paralegal with a strong legal background and technological proficiency to enhance our team's efficiency and effectiveness. This role demands a professional capable of managing operations, embracing new technology, and maintaining high standards of legal service delivery in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal procedures, case management and the ability to facilitate a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage office operations, ensuring practices align with the firm's strategic goals and uphold our commitment to client service excellence.
- Lead the adoption and management of new legal technologies and systems, such as Smoke Ball, to improve case handling and document management.
- Coordinate with vendors and oversee technology integrations, enhancing operational effectiveness and service delivery.
- Guide and mentor the paralegal team, promoting a culture of professionalism, continuous learning, and alignment with the firm’s objectives.
- Implement strategies to foster a collaborative work environment, optimizing both in-office and digital workflows to maintain high service standards.
- Develop and execute digital and social media strategies to enhance the firm's visibility and client engagement.
- Apply critical thinking to resolve operational challenges, streamline procedures, and support the firm’s growth and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners, ensuring a responsive and client-focused practice.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- An Associate's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Alternatively, if an Associate's degree is not held, significant past work experience will be considered.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a legal setting, emphasizing legal operations and technology implementation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing staff and fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing cultural competency and sensitivity to interact with a diverse clientele and workforce effectively.
- High proficiency in legal office software and technologies, especially case management and remote collaboration, including proficiency with Smoke Ball.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
- A commitment to professional development and staying current with legal technology trends and best practices.
