Account Supervisor, Beauty Influencer
BPCM is a strategic communications and branding agency working with luxury brands in the beauty, fashion, travel/wine/spirits, and influencer/celebrity industries. We are seeking experienced, creative, and highly motivated candidates for the position of Account Supervisor, Beauty Influencer. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully managing influencer relations on high-profile brands in the beauty industry and overseeing a small team.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative, curious, and creative thinker who is passionate about all things trending in the influencer landscape and can apply their expertise across a wide range of beauty and wellness clients with differing scopes, budgets and needs. Candidates must be adept at multi-tasking, working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and possess strong management, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Candidate must also have excellent written and oral communication skills, established industry relationships, and the ability to develop, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships. This person must be able to work cross-functionally within and beyond BPCM’s differing Practices and Departments. The role reports to our VP, Beauty and works closely with our Senior Directors.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Lead overarching influencer strategy and relationship management
- Identify and vet influencers for seeding, ambassador programs and new launches to ensure a high caliber roster of talent that align with brands’ overall objectives and values
- Craft innovative and unexpected influencer partnerships that drive brand awareness and increase overall brand reach
- Help strategize and implement all influencer events (Fashion Week, product launches, store openings, etc.), from ideation to budget management through to execution
- Review and revise talent contracts in partnership with legal teams
- Serve as first point of contact for influencer partners and vendors
- Provide insights into consumer trends for real-time influencer content optimization
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of 3-4 beauty influencer managers
- Participate in new business recommendations, proposals and presentations as needed
- Combination of creative and strategic thinking; ability to be an out-of-the-box thinker c
- Monitor editorial calendars, current events, pop culture, seasonal and celebrity trends to effectively and proactively apply story angle development that is strategic and timely
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and high-energy environment
- Ability to manage several accounts independently with a positive and proactive attitude
Requirements
What you bring to the team:
- 6-8 years of experience at a PR or influencer agency or in-house working on influencer campaigns with top beauty brands.
- B.A., preferably in a related field such as Marketing, PR, Communications, and/or Journalism, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in both organic influencer seeding and paid influencer campaigns.
- Well-established contacts with top influencer agencies and influencers themselves (multicultural consumer/lifestyle influencers) both nationally and regionally, in the skincare, hair, fragrance and makeup fields.
- Strong (and detailed) writing, communication, and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, agency principals, and colleagues.
- Strategic thinking around mailer communications and gifting ideation to garner responses, RSVPs, and social posts in a noisy influencer-marketing field.
- Fluent in digital and influencer analytics tools such as Lefty, Tribe, etc., and ability to create strategic analysis and recommendations from the data.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; adept at developing rapport with clients, agents, and influencers to maintain strong working relationships.
- Team leader with ability to mentor junior team members.
- Independent, proactive thinker with hands-on, can-do, “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
- Possess deep appetite for content creation, new technology and digital trends.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $93,000 annually. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
