- Control AR balance ensuring money is received within terms of customer agreements.
- Track, monitor, process payments and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all receipts from customers are accounted for and properly posted.
- Accurately record, investigate, and contest deductions are taken that do not align with the customer contract.
- Process all customer chargebacks including returns and other allowances in line with Group Policies.
- Send and reconcile customer statements on a weekly basis.
- Maintain customer support files, and related customer documentations thoroughly and accurately.
- Assist with Month End Process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Spanish proficiency
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Accounting experience of 3-5 years required, CPG experience a plus!
- Experience with EDI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, sum-if, index-match, etc) and financial systems savviness
- Record of process improvements
- NetSuite experience is preferable
- Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced start-up environment
- Knowledge of taxation issues and experience with sales corporate taxes
- Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities
- Must be detailed-oriented and organize
- Affinity for retail and beauty
Benefits
Base Salary Range: $65,000-75,000**
