Full Job Description
We are seeking a Front Desk Associate for our afterschool program! This position offers the opportunity to be the welcoming face of our program, interacting with students, parents, and staff in one of the premier public schools in the state. We are looking for individuals who are engaging, organized, and can handle high-volume interactions with ease.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist parents, students, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage student check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Memorize faces and names of students and parents to provide personalized service.
- Handle bursts of activity during peak times with calm and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding program-related matters.
- Utilize company-wide digital platforms to perform administrative tasks (e.g., taking attendance, submitting incident reports as needed, etc.).
- Maintain organization of front desk materials and supplies.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment by consistently offering a positive and enthusiastic approach.
This is you:
- Experience working in customer service, preferably in a school or afterschool program.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must!
- Ability to memorize and recall names and faces quickly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills are highly valued.
- A high level of professionalism and motivation is expected.
- A neat and professional appearance is appreciated.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a school environment is important.
The Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (part-time availability)
- Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Season begins September 9th; we are looking for candidates who can commit for the full 2024-25’ school year.

Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program
- Customer service experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume interactions gracefully.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in an educational setting. (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. (preferred)
