The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, has an an Assistant Service Manager opportunity available within our Rallye BMW location. The Assistant Service Manager will assist the Service Manager with overseeing customer facing positions. The ideal candidate will have prior BMW Management or 5 years BMW Service Advisor experience with a willingness to work extended hours. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the responsibility of overseeing, hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, developing and supporting customer facing positions such as Service Advisors, Service Valets, Loaner Car Coordinators and Service Cashiers etc.
- Achieve a high level of repeat service customers by ensuring the service experience exceeds expectations in all respects.
- Foster a customer-centered service philosophy and team approach among all customer facing employees.
- Assure proper communication systems are utilized and that the customer satisfaction index fall above the national average.
- Upgrade knowledge of products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by training on-the-job, attending trade shows and educational programs, establishing personal networks, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Handle escalated customer complaints/problems while assuring all are handled properly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the correct handling of all aspects of the service transaction by thoroughly training and monitoring employees.
- Works collaboratively with the BDC department to assure proper scheduling and coordination of service appointments.
PAY RANGE: $130,000 - $160,000 Annually (Range consists of Salary + Commission)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 6:45AM- 6:30PM availability
Requirements
- Previous BMW Management experience or BMW Service Advisor experience of at least 5 years required.
- Well versed in all aspects of the service department including but not limited to systems, procedures, and controls.
- Employee management experience including hiring, coaching, training, delegating, developing, etc.
- Working knowledge of CDK.
- Outgoing and patient personality with good customer relations and a proven track record of working with the manufacturers.
- Clean and Valid Driver's License.
