Automotive Shop Foreman - BMW

Rallye BMW, Long Island’s premier BMW dealership, is seeking an experienced BMW Shop Foreman! The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, with at least 2 years of prior BMW Foreman experience, looking to join a team whose values are based in teamwork and delivering the highest caliber of customer service!

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a working relationship with BMW factory representatives.
• Maintain contact with service customers on a timely basis.
• Assist technicians with any and all repairs.
• Ensure technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures.
• Provide technicians and service advisors with technical information and repair procedures.
• Review repair orders turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat service customers by ensuring that customer vehicles are repaired and maintained properly—“fixed right the first time.”
• Upgrade knowledge of BMW products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by training on-the-job, and attending training programs.
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the workshop by daily inspections.
• Maintain adequate supplies of equipment, tools, and shop supplies.

PAY RANGE: $150,000 - $165,000 ANNUALLY (Range includes salary + commission)

Requirements

• A clean & valid New York State Driver’s License
• Minimum 2 years experience as a foreman at a BMW Center.
• BMW ASE certification.
• Master BMW Technician certification with EV/Hybrid/Diesel equivalents.
• Ability to supervise, coach, motivate, communicate with and train technicians
• Superior communication skills.
• Working knowledge or trainable in automotive retail center computer systems (CDK computer system preferred).
