Full Job Description
Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped 2.5 million people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.
We are looking for a BI analyst to play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights to improve our Member Experience. This role will build and manage Tableau dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive data informed decisions as we continue to scale. This candidate will have demonstrated experience working closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless data integration and provide insights to enhance customer experience and operational performance.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide meaningful insights into key MX metrics and drive data-informed decision-making across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define reporting requirements and translate data into actionable insights that improve member satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing robust data validation and quality control processes.
- Automate and streamline reporting processes, freeing up resources for deeper data analysis.
- Play a pivotal role in building the foundation for data-driven decision-making within the MX Analytics team and scaling the analytics infrastructure.
This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
Requirements
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- 3-5 years working within business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles with strong proficiency in Tableau.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) and customer feedback platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Benefits
At Oura, we care about you and your well-being. Everyone here at Oura has a ring of their own and we are continually looking to improve employee health and add to our benefits!
What we offer:
- Competitive salary and equity packages
- Health, dental, vision insurance, and mental health resources
- An Oura Ring of your own plus employee discounts for friends & family
- 20 days of paid time off plus 13 paid holidays plus 8 days of flexible wellness time off
- Paid sick leave and parental leave
- Amazing culture of collaborative and passionate coworkers
Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
- Region 1: $142,000 - $158,000
- Region 2: $135,000 - $150,000
- Region 3: $128,000 - $142,000
