Aura Intelligence offers an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in business development and help drive the growth of an innovative alt-data tech startup. As a Sales Development Intern, you will work closely with the sales team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and contribute to the overall sales pipeline.

Role Overview
As a Sales Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn valuable sales skills and gain exposure to the fast-paced world of business development within the tech industry. You will work closely with the sales team to support outbound lead generation efforts, support sales enablement, and qualify inbound leads. Additionally, you will assist in the development and execution of sales strategies that align with company goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential target accounts
- Support outbound lead generation efforts through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
- Qualify inbound leads and engage with prospects to understand their needs and identify opportunities for further engagement
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies, including identifying key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations
- Learn and maintain knowledge about Aura's products and value proposition to effectively communicate with potential customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to document and track all activities, leads, and interactions in the CRM system
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
Paid hourly with variable commission for qualified lead generation.
