K.D. Analytical, a subsidiary of Noble, was founded in 2003 to provide high quality customized training/support to the emerging Military First Responder and the Homeland Defense Community. The staff has over 75 years of combined experience training, supporting and serving the military first responder program and supporting and running high-end analytical equipment. The staff is dedicated to supporting, training and innovating existing and emerging technologies in the Homeland Defense community, Environmental Investigations and direct-to-consumer applications.
Position Summary:
The CBRN Technician II will use extensive knowledge of CBRN operations, to work with and liaison with the client at locations with in New York, NY. Employee will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining CBRN equipment. Employee will maintain records of CBRN equipment maintenance and repair.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain customer instrumentation between 9pm-5am Monday through Friday onsite
- Performs a variety of analytical and technical support work.
- Ability to diagnose complex equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, effectively implement solutions and/or communicate instructions to end-users.
- Implement and update processes to analyze known and unknown substances.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- Maintain day-to-day office operations and communications
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training and on-line meetings
- Service products through an established repair and reporting process
- Field and resolve customer questions and issues via phone, e-mail, or trouble ticket entry
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction within an established ISO 9001:2008 system
Experience, Education, Certifications:
- Minimum Associates Degree in science or engineering field
Competencies:
- Knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanics, and spectroscopy is preferred
- Knowledge of CBRN hazards, detection methods, and personnel protection
- Experience with the full MS Office suite
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate sound work ethics and be able to work independently
- Ability to lift 50lbs, enough agility to navigate over 3-4 foot walls, climb ladder
- Ability to pass an extensive background check
Computer Skills:
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay rate:
$70,000- $80,000 USD.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.
