ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Copywriter to join our growing Marketing Team. You will be responsible for crafting the voice of Farmacy across all communication touchpoints and creating compelling copy for all marketing channels. You ensure all brand deliverables build our brand equity, strengthen our brand DNA, and are delivered on time. You’re obsessed with all things Beauty, and you’re known for being creative and thorough. This role will work closely with all 360 Campaign departments: Brand Marketing, PR, Product Development, Creative, Ecommerce, Social, and Education. You’ll report to the Director of Global Brand Marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brand voice guidelines. Collaborate with Marketing to establish and maintain brand voice across all touchpoints. Ensure tone and style are upheld by meticulously editing and proofreading all content.
- General Copywriting. Develop compelling copy for various channels and assets including education materials, digital assets, emails, print mailers, ad campaigns, event materials, and social media content. Work with the design team to ensure copy fits needs for teams design layouts.
- New Product Development. Leverage insights on NPD and adapt into strong product concepts and compelling packaging copy that aligns with brand positioning.
- Campaigns. Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to conceptualize and pitch campaign-level ideas + actively participate in brainstorms with big picture ideas. Thoroughly examine project briefs, ensuring a deep understanding of marketing objectives and copy requirements to adapt copy per channel.
- Stay up-to-date of all beauty industry trends, social media dynamics, pop culture references, and digital nuances to create content that feels timely, relevant, and authentically resonates with our audience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional copywriting experience.
- Beauty industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Relevant experience working on digital platforms (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, ChatGPT, Monday.com, Adobe Creative Suite (optional))
- Self-starter; ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of SEO/SEM best practices.
- Creative thinker with a passion for beauty and a strong aesthetic sensibility.
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and implement feedback.
- Able to commute to the NYC office 2 days per week.
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
