Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and emails from patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking process.
- Assist patients with insurance verification and explain coverage details.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex patient issues or escalations.
- Provide support and guidance to patients regarding our services, products, and promotions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our database.
- Follow up with patients to ensure their satisfaction and address any outstanding issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to empathize with patients and provide personalized assistance.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of insurance processes.
