About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced EVP of Sales with a track record of defining and executing Go-To-
Market strategy and managing a Global sales team. This role will report to Carbyne’s COO and
must have an entrepreneurial mindset and excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate will
also be a creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities. The primary KPI is revenue
growth to 100M ARR in established markets while selectively expanding into new markets in the
U.S. and globally through partners.
Here's what you'll be working on:
● Develop and execute GTM strategies according to company goals and objectives by
aiming to accelerate growth through multiple channels.
● Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial
opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.)
● Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
● Acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
● Build and maintain profitable partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
● Monitor performance of GTM activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior
management and the Board.
● Set financial targets; Collaborate with Finance to manage the Sales Budget.
● Engage and manage the Sales teams (Direct, partnerships, Presales, CSMs, Sales Ops
and Gov’t Affairs).
Requirements
● Proven experience as a Go-to-Market VP or above. Experience in Tech Sales (specifically
in SaaS) and managing internal and external relationships with key clients.
● Previously managed large B2B or B2G customers.
● Understanding of government procurement process and regulations (FAR, SAR)
● Experience developing channel strategy and managing partner relationships
● In-depth knowledge of different sales channels with a strategic mindset
● Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
● Excellent organizational and leadership skills
● Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
● Proficient in Gmail and other Google applications as well as Microsoft.
● BS or BA degree
