The Role
The Field HR Specialist will report into our Principal HR Consultant. The Field Human Resource Specialist will perform HR analytics, administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient client operational support. The ideal HR Specialist will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, astute attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others, internally as well as external vendors and clients. They will combine essential organizational skills and effective use of resources to execute HR support for operational leaders.
PREFER RETAIL OR FAST FOOD HR EXPERIENCE.

What You'll Do
- Have a weekly/daily/ monthly presence (as needed or contracted) in client venues, interacting with staff, hourly and managers
- Effectively document, investigate, and resolve employee relations issues, in collaboration with Client.
- Assist management with policy interpretation, as well as provide guidance on HR related procedures and programs
- Facilitate and assist with recruitment, pre-employment and on-boarding processes in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Functions as local HR contact for communication and implementation of corporate initiatives in the field; ensure effective communication of company policies relating to personnel practices and procedures
- Facilitate continuous improvement via evaluation of current processes and procedures. Facilitate and assist management in the development of performance improvement plans and employee development plans
- Advise management as it relates to coaching, counseling and/or performance management; conducts internal investigations as required
- Participate in HR team planning and strategy, as well as operations succession planning
- Work with the Operations team to create a culture of recognition
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.
- Acts as liaison between employees and benefits/payroll.
- Posts approved positions, screens applicants, schedules pre-employment testing, interviews, and presents pre-approved offers.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes special events/HR related training
What Experience You Need
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Human Resources professional; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Depending on the location where this role is based, bi-lingual language skills may be required, with Spanish being the preferred bi-lingual language of business
- Working knowledge of employment laws including, but not limited to the DOL, FLSA, ADA and EEOC
- Broad knowledge of human resource as it relates to benefits, training and development; hiring and recruitment; safety and worker's compensation; wage administration and compliance
- Working knowledge of HR systems specifically ATS and HRIS such as Indeed and ADP.
- Must have a valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation

The anticipated salary for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 hour. Christlie G.
