Position: Midlevel Financial Services Litigation Associate
Location: New York City
Direct counsel is seeking a midlevel financial services litigation associate to join a prominent law firm's Financial Services Practice Group.
The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation, having taken on significant responsibility in the litigation of commercial disputes in federal and state court and/or arbitral forums. Responsibilities will include drafting pleadings, brief writing, motion practice, handling discovery, and managing cases on a day-to-day basis. Outstanding oral and written advocacy and communication skills are required, with experience in securities litigation, arbitration, and/or enforcement matters preferred. Applicants from government agencies are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be a member of the New York state bar.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation.
- Proven track record in managing cases and responsibilities in litigation.
- Strong advocacy and communication skills.
- Experience with securities litigation and arbitration preferred.
- Must be a member of the New York state bar.

Salary:
The annualized salary range for this position in New York City is $225,000 to $290,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
