Job Title: Footwear Wholesale Sales Representative

Salary Range: Starting at $45,000 + commission

Position Summary:  

We are seeking a dynamic and result driven Footwear Wholesale Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts, opening up new accounts, and driving sales growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the footwear market, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Showcase new and existing footwear lines to potential and current retail buyers.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  3. Manage and maintain relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention via emails, phone calls, and meetings.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  5. Conduct regular account reviews and business meetings with clients to discuss order performance and growth opportunities.
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and account feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
  7. Use insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
  8. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  9. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure inventory levels meet customer demand.
  10. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account status.
  11. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  12. Identify and target potential retail clients through various channels, including trade shows, industry events, and networking. 
  13. Open new accounts

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or a related role, preferably in the footwear or fashion industry.
  • Goal-oriented and ability to work in a fast paced environment, 
  • Independent, entrepreneurial, passionate self starter with a focus on the delivery of excellence, a GSD attitude, and a sense of urgency
  • Has a valid US driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and through email
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Has a valid US driver’s license



Skills: 

  1. Strong understanding of the footwear market and industry trends.
  2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
