ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Guest Relations Ambassador ensures the overall guest experience from arrival to departure is exceptional, providing customer service to our guests and playing a vital role in the venue's safety measures. This role is responsible for merchandise sales and inventory; lost and found; handling guest issues/concerns; Billfold activations; and greeting guests, assisting with directions, providing information, etc
ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to the Operations Manager
- Work with Operations team to ensure the highest quality experience for our guests during events
- Assist with venue operations safety measures by directing traffic flow inside the venue, providing accurate directions and information, identifying and reporting potential safety concerns, etc
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Exhibit professionalism when speaking to guests and communicating information
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of venue operations and its amenities, merchandise informations/sales, upcoming events, and all pertinent information for each event
- Resolve and document guest issues and concerns
- Collect and document lost and found items during event
- Be an advocate for new initiatives within the venue
- Ad hoc tasks/projects, as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have 2+ years related experience in hospitality operations or equivalent industry
- Must have Certificate of Fitness F03 and F04
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented
- Must have excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Proficiency and experience with iPad Apps and POS systems, a plus
- Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds
COMPENSATION
- Hourly rate for this role is $18.50
