We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department at Happier. This role involves managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the property, and providing excellent customer service to guests.
The ideal candidate will quickly be able to adapt to the brand, values, and culture of the company, evoking passion and excitement for the process in all involved while providing an upbeat and positive client and team experience. About WSA Building
161 Water Street, New York
Operated and developed by Happier People Management, The Water Street Associates (WSA) Building is a modern workspace for the Fashion, Arts, Culture, and Technology industries. 700,000 sq. ft. of programming area, spread across 31 floors, will offer Health & Wellness, Dining, Retail, and the Arts intermixed with coworking spaces, offices, and a Members' community for a holistic experience. The WSA Building project will break down barriers between the public and the once-siloed office tower, expanding the cultural offerings of the neighborhood.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards
- Ensures communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements
- Complies with housekeeping cleanliness and lookbook standards and policies
- Assists with training and gives input during supervised Housekeeping Attendant review process
- Monitors Housekeeping Attendant activities to assure standards are being met, Housekeeping Attendants are being supported and guest needs are being met
- Inspects the work of the Housekeeping Attendants
- Schedules daily tasks, collects rooms and floor status sheets for assigned work areas.
- Monitors each Housekeeping Attendants daily progress.
- Inspects all public areas, offices, restaurants etc, to assure that all standards have been met. When standards have been missed, brings the Attendant back to correct and coaches the Housekeeping Attendant on how to correct deficiency.
- Communicates all requests in WhatsApp chats. Follows up to be sure work is completed.
- Assures that there are sufficient supplies on the floors.
- Ensures cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and storge closets
- Conducts in inventories and prepares requisitions for restocking
- Coordinates housekeeping work with related departments to ensure the best guest experience
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in other departments
- Empowered and empowers associates to intuitively serve each guest, associate, visitor or client
- Follows their instinct and uses her/his best judgment to create experiences for guests that are thoughtful and genuine
- Detail orientated
- Demonstrates high degree of drive and determination
- Works cooperatively with other people in order to achieve a common goal.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a 4 year college degree preferably with an emphasis in Hospitality Management
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a hotel services environment
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience
