Full Job Description
Ability to assist with the day-to-day HR operations. Assists in the administration of the human resources policies procedures and programs. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Maintain employee records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Support the HR team in organizing training and development programs for employees. Coordinate employee benefits and assist in managing employee leave and attendance records. Assist with HR projects and initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience. Under general supervision research and answers routine and non-routine questions related to HR and within certain limitations. This position demonstrates a high-level of integrity, confidentiality and a pro-active approach to customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the recruitment process using the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior work force.
- Assists in recruitment process.
- Assists with leave and benefit administration.
- Completes HR projects accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assists with reporting requirements.
- Assists in the conduct of investigations for low level issues when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
- Assist with the implementation of company safety and health programs. Tracks and posts OSHA required data and files reports.
- Assist with the organization’s in-house employee training and maintain training records.
- Under general supervision oversees progressive discipline process, up to and including the coordination of involuntary employee separation. Ensures that a balanced but consistent approach is taken in the application of discipline.
- Conducts workshops, seminars, and trainings for management and other employees, as needed, on a variety of human resources issues (i.e. documentation, handling disciplinary situations, conducting performance assessments, etc.)
- Presents at new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational goals.
- Provides general HR consulting to departments.
- Conducts exit interviews on terminated employees as needed. Prepares and processes Exit Interview procedure.

Requirements
Required skills and qualifications:
- A.S. in Human Resources or business related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in ADP Wokforcenow and Excel (formulas and pivot tables)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech savy with the ability to quickly learn how to navigate new websites
- Resourceful in problem solving
- Organizational ability to move between tasks and execute completion of them efficiently.
- Treats employee inquiries with the utmost confidentiality and quickly resolves questions.
Benefits
Pay Range: $18 to $26 depending upon experience
