Lattimore Physical Therapy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. Responsibilities
- ·Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Responds to frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Refers more complex questions to the appropriate senior-level HR management.
- Preserves the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Conducts periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure proper collection and filing of all required documents.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- May assist with payroll functions, including processing, addressing employee inquiries, resolving processing errors, and distributing checks.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists in the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment and organization-wide meetings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a HR role or administrative role
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
