Full Job Description
Our Company: BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.
THE ROLE:
At BCI Brands, Import Logistics Coordinators handle the day-to-day operational needs and manage all inbound international logistics coordination. An ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who is excited to work in a rapidly evolving environment. You will interact daily with our Customer Operations team, warehouse management and the Production team to ensure all shipments are delivered and received on time.
Reports to: Logistics Director
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and track customer/vendor Purchase Orders for Sales and Logistics.
- Track and update all international and domestic shipments.
- Create and manage shipments in ERP system.
- Tracking of in transit shipments to identify and communicate delays or changes in ETA.
- View inbound production/shipments to ensure all orders will be on time and resolve any order/delivery issues with urgency.
- Retrieve, evaluate and process import documents from various origin factories to ensure bookings have been made.
- Oversee delivery of all cargo, monitor all receiving’s, ensure work is finished within the required timeframe and help resolve internal/external logistic issues.
- Coordinate with truckers that timely delivery appointments have been scheduled at the warehouse and follow-up to make sure delivery has been made.
- Coordination of DC by-pass, direct and POE shipments to retailer customers.
- Coordinate the submission of any international documentation required by customers.
- Addressing overages and shortages in receipts.
- Weekly analysis and tracking of pending shipments from international suppliers to ensure timely availability of customer orders.
- Work closely with Customs House broker to ensure clearance has been done for all shipments.
- Collaboration with Sales Ops/ Production / Inbound 3PL teams / Freight Forwarders.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in International Logistics.
- Comfortable entering and retrieving data from ERP system in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Basic knowledge of Inbound receiving.
- Strong problem-solving and execution skills.
- Must be detail oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed.
- Strong follow-up skills, especially following up with multiple teams to provide them with information needed to resolve pending purchase orders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as this position requires communication with multiple departments and companies.

The salary range for this full-time position is dependent upon experience between $75-85k.
