Title: Manager, Brand Partnerships
Reports to: SVP, Business Development & Customer Success
Location: Fully Remote - USA, accessible to New York
About the Job
The Manager, Brand Partnerships will be responsible for both growing and maintaining Mirriad’s strategic partnerships across linear, digital, and streaming. The focus will be on supporting Mirriad’s quickly scaling, supply-side virtual product placement (VPP) marketplace, working both internally and externally to close new supply partnerships and scale current content partner accounts.
The Manager, Brand Partnerships is accountable for content partnership sales and account development, plus B2B revenue generation through strategic partner marketing and sales efforts. They will also assist in maintaining internal CRM tied to the supply side of the business, logging both content clearance and revenue pipeline metadata. In tandem, the Manager will collaborate with Mirriad’s internal business units to capitalize on active demand dollars in the marketplace and continue to build out Mirriad’s first-class VPP product suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Mirriad’s supply-side solutions to content partners of all types and sizes through inbound response, outreach, and partnership development
- Establish and manage close relationships with key content partner clients and build strong rapport with multiple client stakeholders
- Work closely with Mirriad Ad Ops team to onboard content to Mirriad platform and improve operational processes for content partner organizations
- Track internal supply-side marketplace CRM and metadata within internal Mirriad platforms and spreadsheets
- Collaborate with Mirriad Ad Sales team to operationalize VPP content marketplace and strategize against active RFPs and proposals
- Provide visibility to EVP and Upper Management on accomplishments and challenges
- Educate and evangelize a new ad product in a complex and sophisticated marketplace
- Continuously improve content partner platform experience through on-going refinement of collateral, tools, and information, while also providing consistent feedback loop to Mirriad Product and Tech team
Programmatic Responsibilities
- Ownership of the programmatic product roadmap, carefully balancing business needs with the technical perspective
- Work closely with the SVP, Strategic Partnerships, supporting Commercial strategy and Partner relationship activities at all times
- Work with global Mirriad and partner resources, across Commercial, Product and Technical disciplines, to devise and develop product solutions that deliver the company vision
- Substantially contribute to the commoditisation of Mirriad’s offering to facilitate data driven programmatic partner integration
Experience
- 4-6 years experience in partnership management and/or business development in an advertising or marketing field
- Multiple years’ experience negotiating and scaling partnerships while establishing relationships across partner organizations
- 2 years experience managing large complex accounts with a revenue target attached
- The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of Programmatic solutions
Skills
- Strong familiarity with ad sales, ad tech, media math, and the multi-faceted, multi-platform Americas content distribution landscape
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, create projects, and effectively measure progress against goals
- Ability to coordinate complex and strategic account plans across internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent strategic selling capabilities; you must be able to understand your clients’ needs and identify how Mirriad can address them
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks on tight timelines and across various time zones
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills targeted to both day-to-day contacts as well as C-level executive
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
