The Role
We are looking for a Data Analytics professional to be a creative and collaborative team member, embedded within a Data Intelligence team focused on client reporting and analytics, KPI development, campaign measurement, research and insights with a focus on delivering reports, dashboards, ad hoc analyses and strategic insights across a wide array of client sectors.
This is an opportunity to flex your curiosity, push the limits of campaign measurement and work with Fortune 500 brands to uncover insights and inform strategy.
The Work
You will be responsible for filling the growing demand for business intelligence, measurement and strategic insights across BCW/Burson’s vast client roster harnessing our platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with clients and internal account teams to understand campaign objectives and develop data-driven insights that are both strategic and measurable—including developing KPIs and milestones on strategic initiatives and ensuring data capture and tracking to measure goal achievement
• Drive Data Culture and adoption across the company, creatively thinking of new ways to leverage and connect both internal data and external data, identifying new business opportunities, and informing strategic decisions
• Compare standard processes within the analytics organization to optimize reporting across accounts. The ability to find efficiencies in repurposing existing reports is a plus.
• Support workflows to manage and organize all data and attribution to ensure consistent, complete, and accurate data for reporting and analytics
Experience That Contributes to Success
• 6 to 8 years of experience with Data Analytics, KPI development and measurement generating analytical insights to drive business actions
• Knowledge in a variety of analytics techniques such as: profiling, data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, and campaign measurement
• Experience working with data environments and strong knowledge in querying language and/or querying applications (SQL, Alteryx)
• Strong in MS Office Package usage skill especially MS Excel. Strong relational database skills
• Experience in telling stories with data using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Sophisticated proficiency with Excel, Business Intelligence/Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), as well as syndicated third-party data such as GWI or similar.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Highly organized and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Client-facing with the ability to present data interpretations, insights, and strategies.
• Proficient problem-solving skills and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
• Knowledge in a variety of analytics techniques such as: profiling, data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, and campaign measurement
• Strong in MS Office Package usage skill especially MS Excel. Strong relational database skills
• Experience in telling stories with data using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• You have working knowledge of analytic technologies (e.g. Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
• You know how to acquire data from multiple sources/environments and transform it so it can be used for analytics
• You strive to better communicate data through data visualization and storytelling

In New York City, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000.00 to $140,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
