Athletes Unlimited is looking for a Manager, Digital Fan Engagement to build and engage a community across digital platforms while acting as a liaison between Athletes Unlimited and its fans. This position is full-time and reports to the Sr. Director, Digital Fan Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create an annual calendar focused on virtual events that engage and grow our fan base 
  • Work cross-functionally to build a top-tier experience for our digital community 
  • Develop an engaging content plan for our fan forum 
  • Build a promotion calendar to educate fans on benefits, events, and other ways to engage with AU and our athletes and work with internal partners to execute
  • Monitor existing and emerging channels daily and share community feedback internally with relevant departments
  • Maintain a consistent, authentic "voice" across fan forum and customer support channels to deepen the relationship between fans and Athletes Unlimited 
  • Actively research industry trends and best practices to better connect with fans 
  • Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and ensure brand consistency 
  • Assist with game day coverage across AU leagues

Requirements

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Experience launching digital initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and/or writing an email newsletter) 
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience growing and engaging communities online
  • Passion for team sports and/or general sports knowledge
  • Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques a plus
  • Knowledge of Google Suite products
  • Occasional travel to seasons may be needed (approximately five times a year)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Benefits

This role is full-time, remote and is compensated at a range of $54,000-$65,000 annually. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and geographic location of the position. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.
