Manufacturing Operations Director - Bilingual Spanish

The Production Director at R2Net plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient flow of products through our manufacturing process. This detail-oriented individual will ensure operational excellence, establish standard procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Factory team and VP of Production. The goal is to optimize current capabilities, identify expansion opportunities, and contribute to the sustainable development and long-term success of R2Net. Direct responsibilities include overseeing daily calendar of jobs within the factory team, prioritization and workflow on the floor, team management and ownership of KPIs measuring success. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and coordinate manufacturing operations to drive business objectives, maximize productivity, and ensure compliance. 
• Develop strategic plans and oversee their implementation to optimize productivity and performance, providing feedback to ensure successful outcomes. 
• Identify risks and opportunities, making recommendations to the VP of Production to strengthen productivity levels. 
• Delegate production workflows and set daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in partnership with the VP of Production for team members. 
• Promote an operational excellence mindset, implementing streamlined processes and adaptive tools while prioritizing safety. 

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in jewelry manufacturing or similar light manufacturing setting, and managing business operations. 
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages (preferred strong written in both languages) 
• Detail oriented in presenting necessary information and communication to support team member’s work. 
• Proactive approach to management  
• Capable of training and developing team members based on individual needs. 
• Knowledge of key business practices in manufacturing or supply chain. 
• Proven ability to think strategically, analyze, and showcase critical thinking skills. 
• Customer centric and service oriented. 
• Capable of building strong cross-functional relationships. 
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 
• Experience in a LEAN environment; Six Sigma Green belt preferred

Base pay $100,000 - $120,000 Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
