What does this role entail?
The Americas Marketing Manager will be responsible for generating pipeline for the Americas region. With responsibility over specific segments, the Marketing Manager will drive online and offline marketing initiatives, campaigns and events in the US. You will create and execute marketing plans that deliver tangible results in collaboration with BDR, Sales, Global Marketing and Product Marketing teams.
You will own the Marketing Funnel for the region, ensuring that we stimulate demand through the funnel with quality leads and target each stage of the funnel with appropriate campaigns and deliver memorable marketing experiences that support our regional sales goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Americas Marketing Plans:
- Create, agree, and fulfil Marketing plans that align with the Americas goals across segments and motions, ensuring we generate sufficient demand that can convert into opportunities.
- Deploy different tactics to ensure we stimulate demand in the key areas e.g. Account Based Marketing for Priority Accounts and demand generation tactics for other accounts.
- Own the Marketing Funnel for the Americas region, ensuring the right quality and quantity of leads move efficiently through the funnel and are accelerated if required.
- Measure results from every campaign ensuring we are delivering the right outcomes. Own your scorecard and present these outcomes to key stakeholders (Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, BDR teams).
- Ensure all events and marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, and measure and report on their effectiveness.
Local Digital, Content & ABX Campaigns:
- Create and deploy very tailored ABX campaigns for key accounts.
- Design, plan, and deploy local campaigns for the Americas region, designed to stimulate demand generation for the Americas marketing funnel.
- Work closely with Sales team to identify buying committees and find ways in which to introduce them to the Marketing Funnel and increase their engagement on campaigns.
- Adapt digital and content marketing programmes to the needs of a regional sales team and deploy campaigns using all necessary digital channels.
- Work closely with internal marketing teams to deliver localised and regional-specific press releases/case studies (Communications & Content Team), partner and customer marketing initiatives.
Event Management:
- You will have direct ownership for all regional events, taking the lead for all regional events, webinars, and roundtables for the Americas region. You will also collaborate closely with the Global Events team to deliver any global event that may be pertinent to your region.
- Evaluate all third-party events according to Fenergo criteria and outline what success looks like for each event.
- Attend relevant trade shows and events, delivering onsite management and decision-making.
- Create an event plan for every event, webinar or roundtable that we invest in, outlining the key elements of the event, investment and KPIs that we want to achieve.
- Prepare a post-evaluation report on all event-related activities to determine if we achieved success and ROI for the event.
Cross Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with teams across Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing and Partner & Customer Marketing teams to execute core campaigns that will deliver excellent results.
- Be an advocate for the sales region you support and help the rest of the marketing department understand their priorities.
- Document and share lead/customer intelligence with sales team.
Desired Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant business area.
- 5+ years of Marketing experience.
- Previous experience delivering, accelerating, and expanding sales pipeline through marketing.
- Fluency in English.
- Proven proficiency in working with Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase, On24 (or equivalents).
