Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the Aerospace & Defense industry, specializing in supply chain optimization. We are currently seeking a skilled Microwave Test Technician to join our team. As a Microwave Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting RF microwave components and systems.
Responsibilities
- Test and Tune operations.
- Review test plans and procedures to accurately assess microwave product performance.
- Perform Final Tests on sealed assemblies.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
- Writing up final test reports for presentation to customers and management.
- Provide status to manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
- Provide feedback on issues found at the test to the assembly teams.
- Troubleshooting of microwave assemblies by utilizing circuit diagrams as part of circuit analysis to resolve complex electronic circuit problems.
- Assist in Failure Analysis and Corrective Action and tracking to root cause.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
Skills:
- Good troubleshooting skills with complex microwave assemblies
- An understanding of test plans and operating procedures
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be attentive to details.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and customers.
- Good communication skills, both oral and in written form
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- A general understanding of RF theory, such as S-parameters, noise figure, gain, 1dB compression, harmonics, and inter-modulation distortion measurement.
- Ability to measure and calculate insertion loss and VSWR of a microwave device.
- Ability to use high-frequency electronic instruments, such as oscillators, audio oscillators, standing wave amplifiers, multi meters, phase-sensitive de-modulators, volt-ohm meters, logic and network analyzers, AF and RF signal generators, and wave meters.
- Certification in IPC-610
- 3 years of experience in the assembly of electronic sub-assemblies
