We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part Time Seasonal Banquet Supervisor to join our esteemed catering team.  As a supervisor you will oversee all aspects of catering operations for our cocktail hour and buffet stations and be responsible for coordinating with the team to deliver exceptional service to guests while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Create the schedule for the team including Food Runners, Supervisors & Venetian set up, while maintaining accurate schedules for upcoming events.
• Assist in supervising daily shift operations.
• Lead team members in the execution of dinner service and expediting the food service for cocktail hour.
• Assist in maintaining inventory for the bar stations and ensure availability of staff supplies and resources for events.
• Oversee closing procedures with the Food Runners making certain that daily checklist responsibilities are assigned and completed; Includes overseeing the changing over and cleaning of buffet areas after cocktail hour.
• Educate the staff to be able to describe all food and beverage products attractively.
• Ensure specialty buffet and Venetian display items are stored properly, inventoried and maintained.
• Ensure staff is following all food and alcohol beverage service in compliance with federal, state, and local laws at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests during events, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Participate in departmental meetings, including contract meetings and assist with preparations for the week’s events.
• Able to effectively communicate in English.
• Additional duties assigned as needed.

Work Schedule – Wednesday-Sunday, Weekends, Holidays

Hourly Rate - $22 - $25 (Salary commensurate with experience)

Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk up and down stairs around event facility the entire shift 8+ hours.
