At Youth Athletes United [YAU] & Super Soccer Stars, we've set out to deliver top-notch programming and services for youth sports, beginning with their very first sports adventure. Our mission is to ensure that every child feels like an athlete. By doing so, we aim to foster healthy habits from a young age, instill important life skills, and boost overall youth participation in physical activities.

The History:

Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and has been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.

The Position:

Super Soccer Stars is seeking to recruit a full-time Office Coordinator to become a part of our team. We are in search of an individual who possesses a genuine passion for working with children, engaging in athletics, and contributing to the community. In the role of Office Coordinator, you will oversee the daily front desk and office operations, provide exemplary customer service, maintain facility standards, and facilitate communication at our primary office location.

Day-to-day:

As the Office Coordinator, you will perform several administrative support and customer service tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the office environment. This may include (not limited to):

  • Ensuring front desk security and completion of office opening and closing procedures.
  • Managing customer service area including, supervision of the front desk and upkeep of promotional material.
  • Greeting customers with a warm, friendly attitude upon arrival.
  • Monitoring office deliveries and general maintenance and organization of physical space.
  • Managing schedules for conference and community spaces.
  • Ensuring that the facilities are properly maintained and restocked accordingly with bathroom issue, paper towels, and soap products.
  • Escalating any issues or concerns to the Operations Team.

Administrative Duties:

  • Marketing support; distribution of flyers, participation in the events, promotional outreach for Soccer Stars programs/events, and partnering with local businesses to grow class enrollment.
  • Assist with any administrative support, including the retrieval of mail, deliveries, and subsequent filing.
  • Assist with class management for open enrollment & camp programming such as class creations, enrollment, withdrawing/transferring classes, internal team communication (slack, zoom, salesforce), and parent communication.
  • Maintain flawless communication with customers and prospective customers in person, on the phone, through text, and via email and foster relationships with clients, children, and partners to ensure positive customer service.

Customer Service:

  • Answer customer questions; relay program information; communicate schedule changes and updates; offer guidance for program options and solutions.
  • Act as a customers liaison and collect feedback on the program to communicate with management team.
  • Handle all Tier I issues swiftly with Super Soccer Stars standards and maximize customer service satisfaction.

Schedule/Location:

  • 5 days/week, Approx. 35-40 hours
    • Sunday - Wednesday
    • hours may change based on seasonal needs
  • New York City Office locations on the Upper West Side/Upper East Side

Requirements

  • Must be able to commute to our office location in Manhattan.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively on projects and responsibilities.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience with children, background in fitness a plus (athletics, sports, etc.).
  • Associate's Degree/Bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • AED/CPR certification.

Benefits

  • Pay: $18 - $20 hourly, with commission and bonus opportunities.
