Who you are
A dedicated Delivery Driver willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends. The role involves delivering floral arrangements to various locations, confirming wire service orders, and assisting with seasonal greenhouse deliveries.

Lovingly has tremendous plans for retail growth with a goal of making it easy for gifters to send meaningful floral arrangements and gifts. In this role, you'll be our head designer, manage day-to-day operations, and be the primary contact for customers, providing friendly, courteous, and helpful service.
This role reports to the Floral Manager.
What you’ll do
- Loading Orders: Ensure customer orders are properly loaded into the delivery van.
- Quality Check: Inspect floral arrangements for damages and report any issues.
- Deliveries: Take arrangements to customers' homes, hospitals, and funeral homes.
- Documentation: Obtain recipient signatures for proof of delivery.
- Wire Service Orders: Confirm deliveries for wire service orders.
- In-Shop Assistance: May require assisting in the floral shop.
- Unpacking & Organizing: Unpack floral freight deliveries and organize the workroom or cooler.
- Sales & Payment: Receive orders, collect payment, and sell merchandise.
- Pricing: Price merchandise accurately.
- Van Maintenance: Ensure the delivery van is clean and well-maintained.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- Experience driving a commercial cargo van.
- Good working knowledge of the Lower Hudson Valley.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and staff.
- Flexibility to comply with a variable work schedule.
- Capacity to work in a warm and humid environment.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are frequent.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 25 pounds.
- High School diploma or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Part time position - upto 28 hours a week.
