Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant Wanted
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic outpatient practice at Gotham Enterprises Ltd in Oneida, NY. In this role, you will partner with Physical Therapist in restoring their motion and help them achieve their personal best in functionality. Your mission will be to enhance the quality of life and movement potential through promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.

Salary: We offer a Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 per year plus benefits

Work Schedule:
M to F 9-5 pm
Patient Volume: 10-12 patients a day

Team Structure: 2 Physical Therapist Assistants

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and address unique patient goals and needs.
- Provide cost-effective treatments to improve client motion and mobility.
- Minimize reliance on medications and propose alternative options to surgery.
- Manual Therapy
- Formulate individualized care plans using diverse therapeutic techniques.
- Design wellness-oriented programs catering to each patient’s specific requirements.
- Deliver personalized, evidence-based care and proven interventions.
- Encourage and motivate patients to enhance their functional abilities.
- Promote healthy lifestyles focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Collaborate with other health professionals for integrated patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress; communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care services.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Current New York State Physical Therapiy Assistant License.
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Proven clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Strong manual therapy skills and training.
- Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- No disciplinary actions or board actions on license.
