Join our dynamic team as a Plant Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our operations. Positioned at the heart of our maintenance and troubleshooting endeavors, you'll collaborate closely with various teams to spearhead projects, both operational and capital, ensuring our systems run smoothly and safely. Directly reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll be instrumental in optimizing our processes through innovative solutions and meticulous project management.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a technical linchpin for our operations and maintenance teams, offering crucial support to ensure our equipment adheres to industry standards and performs flawlessly.
- Take the lead in managing outages from planning to execution, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by setting and achieving ambitious process and equipment operation goals in collaboration with station managers.
- Craft and oversee a proactive maintenance program, keeping our equipment at peak performance in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Manage a broad range of projects, from initiation through to completion, including contract management and coordination with contractors.
- Update and refine key station documentation, contributing to our knowledge base and operational excellence.
- Conduct thorough investigations and analyses to prevent future incidents and equipment failures.
- Engage in hands-on testing, maintenance, and optimization of our complex control systems and instrumentation.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For:
- A degree-holder in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred), bringing at least 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering, project management, and maintenance within a technical environment.
- A strategic thinker with a knack for juggling multiple projects and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Someone with a deep understanding of power plant operations, including key components and systems, failure modes, and maintenance strategies.
- Proficiency in industrial instrumentation, DCS, PLC, and familiar with ASME, IEEE, NFPA, and other relevant standards.
- A tech-savvy professional proficient in MS Office Suite and equipped with exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
